In this tutorial, we will be focusing on linking together different areas with lovely flowing washes. It will also be an opportunity to look at balancing refined areas with more abstract areas.
We will be using a very simple colour palette along with simple tonal values, in a relatively simple subject, all of which will allow us to focus a little more on the physical characteristics of the medium.
This fresh approach to this subject is a lot of fun, and yet again, the main topic of the subject, linking washes, is another essential element of watercolour.
