If you're looking to create simple yet effective watercolours with light and life in them, this is going to be a great little tutorial for you!
We take a fairly complex subject and break it down logically to create a simple yet effective composition with a nice strong focal point.
We also inject into this a lovely play of cooler and warmer colours (plenty of little pointers here), to make the feeling of light sing.
These concepts do not have to be hard or laboured, a few considerations and a little bit of planning goes a long, long way to help your watercolour process not only be more successful but also much more enjoyable and free!
Continuing on from the previous tutorial we take a closer look at colour mixing, in particular working with more muted greys initially and then pushing them to be either cooler or warmer. Another simple yet highly effective way to bring our watercolour to the next level.
