Two of my favourite elements of watercolour are both the freshness of a single wash, but also the unexpected and exciting glow of layering two colours over each other.
Whilst we can have both of these at play in a single painting, this tutorial of a small girl playing on the beach is about taking these approaches and applying them each separately across two paintings.
