Ok, it’s time to dive into having some fun with watercolour, getting that paint flowing and exploring that wonderfully unique and fascinating world of watercolour painting: working wet into wet.
Shells in the sand is a slightly different subject for me, but I thought it was the perfect opportunity to break out into a more natural and fluid way of thinking about lights and darks, whilst still honouring just how important tonal contrast is in making a subject really “pop”!
