• Avoid getting caught up in the details.
• Stop overworking and fussing over the painting.
• Create clean, simple and confident paintings.
• Use shape and tone to anchor the painting, giving us the perfect platform to loosen up and have fun.
• Introduce darker tones while the lighter washes are still damp, creating beautiful soft transitions and a real sense of atmosphere through wet-in-wet.
